Daily After-School Care
Our team welcomes children after school in our three rooms in the JFKS elementary school building. After a brief welcome circle and daily updates, our staff accompanies the children to the Aula or our EC room.
Typical daily schedule
Children taking the 3:00 or 4:00 pm school bus are accompanied by our staff. We make sure all children arrive on time for their after-school activities.
Outdoor Facilities and Activities
The spacious and attractive outdoor facilities of JFKS are available to us at all times. We aim to spend as much time as possible outside with the children: playing soccer, table tennis, basketball, hide and seek, and whatever else we can think of.
Indoors we have a wide selection of board games, a huge collection of Lego and Kapla bricks, costumes for role play, arts and crafts supplies, and a book corner for reading and relaxing.
Care on School-Free Days
On school-free days we offer full-day excursions and activities from 8:45 am to 3:00 pm. These include:
Labor Day, BERMUN Conference Days, Martin Luther King Day/Presidents Day, Teacher Working Days, Memorial Day, last school day before summer break, and more.
For families with the Maxi Package, care on school-free days is already included. Mini Package families can book separately depending on availability.
Summer Camps 2026
Three exciting camps in summer 2026! Full days from 8:30 am to 3:00 pm with field trips, arts, sports and adventures around Berlin and Brandenburg.
Mini Camp I
Three days of adventure to kick off summer. Field trips and activities around JFKS.

Summer Camp III — Summer in Our City
We explore Berlin and Brandenburg! Museums, boat rides, art workshops, swimming pools and of course ice cream. Sample program: Monday Museum Düppel exploring the Middle Ages, Tuesday ferry to Alt Kladow with picnic, Wednesday creative workshop at Paint Your Style, Thursday outdoor swimming pool, Friday Botanical Gardens with scavenger hunt.

Book all three camps together: EUR 385.00 (early bird bundle price). Drop-off from 8:30 am (no later than 9:00 am), pick-up 2:45 to 3:00 pm in Room R 167.
What each child should bring
Small backpack, sturdy shoes and weather-appropriate clothing, swimsuit and towel, sunscreen and sun hat, water bottle, hearty lunch and snack, BVG ticket or student pass for children aged 6 and above.
Registration and Payment
Please register your child through our online form. Payment by bank transfer to Villa Grips Soziale und Bildungsdienste gGmbH (IBAN: DE57 1002 0890 0026 9465 06). Your child's spot is confirmed once payment is received. Please note: No cancellation is possible after payment, unless someone from the waiting list can take the spot.
