Late Birds offers flexible and reliable childcare on all school days from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Depending on your needs, you may decide which days per week your child will come to Late Birds. The costs of our care is calculated depending on your choice of our Mini or Maxi Package. A Mini Package is 1 to 2 days of childcare a week and a Maxi Package is 3 to 5 days of childcare per week.
In addition, Late Birds offers extra care on days when there are Parent/ Teacher Conferences, early dismissals, and some American holidays. During the summer vacation we plan at least one summer camp during the last week of vacation in order for the children to meet some Late Birds friends before school starts again.

Regular opening hours:
- Daily on school days from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m.
Longer opening times because of shortened school days from early dismissal to 4 p.m.:
- Parent Conference Grades EC to 6
- Last day of school before winter holidays
- Last day of school before summer vacation

- August 12 to 16, 2024 Summer Camp – Summer in the city, we explore different sights in Berlin and Brandenburg depending on weather and activities in the city.

Entrance Class Camp 2024
- EC Camp 2024 August 19 – 29, 2024
This unique and welcoming camp time provides a wonderful opportunity for the new children in the Entrance Class to make their first friends and get to know Late Birds childcare and the John F. Kennedy School. In our small group we will explore the school grounds, ease into routines and learn to play in a creative and culturally rich environment. We will also play a variety of organized indoor and outdoor games, have free play, make crafts, read stories and have fun with music.
